Information For The Hydra VII
The Semroc Hydra VII was designed in 1969 as the seventh Semroc-Kit.
Designed to be a high performance large cluster payload rocket, the Hydra
VII was the most complex kit Semroc introduced. Named after a multi
headed monster in Greek mythology, the Hydra was a monster of a rocket
with seven C motors. Construction was much more challenging than most
other model rockets of the time. Igniting all seven motors was a major
accomplishment, but rewarding flights were still possible. In small fields, a
single C motor provided a great low altitude demonstration flight. The
Hydra VII was  number KB-7.

This original Semroc Aeronautics Corporation release hasn’t been seen
since 1969, here is your chance to own one of the best cluster kits on the
market. You can fly this kit 3 ways. Single C6-3, Three C6-5’s, or go for it
all with SEVEN  that’s right SEVEN C6-7’s. Large payload section for your
cargo. Recovery is no problem with 3 12” parachutes. Laser cuts parts
make assembly relatively easy.  This is not a skill level 1 kit so be prepared
to spend some time on this one, but the results are well worth it. Smoke up
your next club launch with one of these.
